In 1970, when the doors opened, Wisenbaker Builder Services had only three employees and carpet was its primary focus. Currently, the company provides carpet, carpet cushion (carpet pad), area rugs, wood flooring, tile, vinyl, natural stone flooring, Avanza, Corian, Staron and natural granite countertops. It has more than 325 employees. The 1990's saw the birth and maturity of the Territory Manager Program and everyday use of cutting edge computer technology. It quadrupled its office and warehouse space. The company acquired a highly rated solid surface countertop fabrication facility, and it opened its first design center in Houston. Today, Wisnebaker has one of the largest solid surface and granite countertop manufacturing facilities in Texas using state-of-the-art machinery and technology. The company owns and operates multiple design centers in the Houston and Dallas/Ft. Worth areas. It has expanded its customer base into the San Antonio and Austin, Texas areas.
