Descriptions Torrance High School is a public school serving the educational needs of students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students and is part of the Torrance Unified School District. Its curriculum comprises subjects, such as English, math, social science, science, foreign language, and visual and performing arts. It also provides one-year college preparatory courses in macroeconomics, computer science, creative writing, economics forensics, integrated science and psychology. It has athletic teams in several sports, including cross country, tennis, volleyball, water polo, golf, football, basketball, track and field, wrestling, soccer and swimming. Torrance High School is located in Torrance, Calif. It also serves as a location for major television programs and motion pictures. |
