Star Construction LLC

Incorporated in 1954, Star Construction serves the telecommunications, power, cable television and general utility industries in the Southeast. Its services include conventional and directional boring, internal wiring and cabling, testing and maintenance, and the installation of poles, anchors, pipes, underground conduit systems, manholes and vaults. Star construction employs more than 300 people. Its clients include Sprint Nextel Corporation and Bellsouth. Star Construction is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dycom Industries, which provides engineering, construction, maintenance and installation services to the telecommunications industry. Founded in 1969, Dycom Industries owns and operates more than 25 subsidiaries that employ over 9,000 individuals. It provides specialty contracting services throughout the United States and parts of Canada.
