I would say that David S from Stockton (3/2014) review is very accurate. Fabulous place for fishing and camping. It's a Small remote campground - driving down/up a dirt, unimproved forest route...

I have been going to Sand Bar for over 40 years. This is one of the best camping and fishing anywhere. One problem is do not go on opening weekend. This place gets crowded with too many people....
