Parole & Probation

The Maryland Division of Parole and Probation falls under the state's Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. The local office serves as a means of supervision for residents who are on parole or probation who are receiving assistance in their efforts to succeed in society. Probation and parole officers monitor how well clients are doing in terms of meeting court or parole-board established goals and requirements. The office also oversees the Drinking Driver Monitor Program. The office is located around the corner from a free municipal parking lot at the corner of Walnut and Parke streets.
