Descriptions Henry Wahner's offers truly excellent, authentic German food. Customers should arrive hungry, as portions are quite generous. The food is high-quality and freshly prepared while the staff is friendly and accommodating. Although the restaurant has a children's menu, your little one might get antsy because service is not overly speedy; cooking and eating take time here. You will never feel rushed at this independently-owned restaurant, but you may have to wait as the place is usually packed with locals who love it. Henry Wahner's is on the expensive side and does not accept credit cards. However, specials are available such as the early-bird menu, which offers half-sized portions for 10 dollars from 4pm to 5pm. Although customers will not find special drink prices at the full-service bar, the owner convincingly states, "every hour you're here is happy hour." |
