Gordon L. Glaus Cape Girardeau Attorney Gordon L. Glaus focuses his law practice on Criminal Defense, Divorce and Family Law, and Personal Injury cases in the Southeast Missouri region. Gordon began his legal career in 2002 as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Cape Girardeau County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, Gordon successfully handled thousands of criminal matters; from speeding tickets and DWIs, to robberies and murders. Gordon Glaus entered the private practice of law in 2005. Since that time, he has successfully litigated thousands of criminal defense cases, divorce and custody matters, and personal injury cases in Southeast Missouri. Gordon has twice been voted one of the top young professionals in Southeast Missouri by the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce and The Southeast Missourian. Gordon is currently a member and regional representative of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also a featured speaker for the Missouri Bar's continuing legal education program. Gordon is licensed to practice law in Missouri Courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri Gordon Glaus received his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in May of 2002 and was admitted to the Missouri Bar in September, 2002. In law school, Gordon successfully competed in the moot court and trial advocacy programs. He was also active in the International Law Society. While in law school, Gordon gained valuable civil litigation experience working as a law clerk for the law firms of Evans & Dixon in St. Louis, Missouri, and Heyl, Royster, Voelker, & Allen in Edwardsville, Illinois. Gordon received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While in college at Mizzou, Gordon was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Adam E. Gohn Cape Girardeau Attorney Adam Gohn concentrates his law practice on personal injury, workers compensation, estate planning and probate, business planning & litigation, and bankruptcy. Adam is licensed to practice law in all Missouri state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Adam Gohn was raised in Jackson, Missouri and is a graduate of Jackson High School. He attended Southeast Missouri State University where he received his B.A. and B.S. with honors, was an Honors Scholar, and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. At Southeast, Mr. Gohn was selected to spend time at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C. and was named to Southeast Missouri Business Today’s 40 under 40. He received his J.D. at Southern Illinois University where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi: the international legal honors society, graduated in the top 1/3 of his class, was named to the Dean’s Honor List, and earned the CALI award for excellence. While in law school, Mr. Gohn gained valuable and diverse legal experience as a clerk for a small law firm in Cape Girardeau, as a project assistant at the Immigration Detention Project, and as a clerk at the SIU Elder Law Clinic. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Gohn is the co-owner of a real estate investment firm and teaches as an adjunct faculty at Southeast Missouri State University.
