Factory Shoals Middle School

Factory Shoals Middle School enrolls more than 800 students annually in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes French, math, special education, language arts, science and social studies. The school maintains a library that houses a variety of educational resources. It operates a band and chorus, as well as conducts art and music classes. Factory Shoals Middle School operates various clubs and organizations, including reading bow, science fair and knight steppers. The school provides opportunities for students to participate in sports activities, such as basketball, football, soccer, cheerleading, softball, and track and field. Factory Shoals Middle School operates a parent-teacher-student association and arranges various fundraising events. It also offers guidance counseling sessions. The school is a part of the Douglas County School System.
