Descriptions

Named after Union City's first recreation director, Charles Kennedy, Kennedy Park is the city's largest park. Located near the Union City BART station, it features a basketball court, two playgrounds, a large amphitheater available for reservations and special events and a community center. The center offers classes in art, dance and more for teens and kids. The park also has three main picnic areas: Daniel Camerillo, Sycamore and Willow. Each picnic area provides tables, which can seat up to about 40 people, and a BBQ grill.
