Descriptions Baratta's is a full-service restaurant that offers an array of Italian and American cuisine. It features a bar, banquet facility and various private dining rooms. The restaurant s banquet facility can accommodate up to 50 guests and is ideal for corporate luncheons, family reunions, and cocktail, retirement and birthday parties. Its menu includes Italian-style roast beef, smoked turkey, broiled salmon, pizzas, pasta dishes, cheese sticks, soups, salads, sandwiches, onion rings, meatballs, pork tenderloins, and chicken breasts and strips. Baratta's also offers a children s menu that lists fried chicken, spaghetti, baked lasagna, french fries and sauces. In addition, its bar serves a selection of red and white wines, such as pinot noir, zinfandel, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, pinot grigio, chardonnay, shiraz and riesling. The restaurant provides carry-out and delivery services. It maintains a presence in Des Moines, Iowa. |

Tried out the hot sausage sandwich and onion rings. Very tasty. I'm anxious to try more items from here. Note do not order this from Doordash. I think it'll be better and fresher in person. Yum

IMO, this is one of 3 great Italian places in Des Moines. Classic Italian cuisine great prices and service. Homemade food that is fresh and tasty. Anything with red sauce here is amazing.
